Overview
During my senior year at Arcadia University, this project that began as a tribute to my grandfather’s late-in-life creative awakening; and ended up becoming a reflection of my own journey as a designer, writer, and grandson. The work manifested as a self-published book/zine, a website, and a small line of merchandise. This passion project was displayed in the Spruance Art Gallery, where over 300 people engaged with it on opening night alone.

Impact
In all, this project taught me that design isn’t just about making things look good; it’s about honoring stories, asking questions, and building experiences that feel felt. I learned how to work across mediums while holding onto a consistent emotional thread. This project helped me grow not just as a designer, but as a listener, a researcher, and a storyteller.
